Announcement   Welcome to Haulin' Hoof Farm Store! Please check out all the sections of our shop, located under ITEMS on the left hand side of the page, or SECTIONS on a mobile device. We have many wonderful goods to offer! Wood, wool, and ceramic items, along with our naturally crafted bar soaps are some of what you'll find; all made on our family farm in southeastern Ohio, and all from responsibly harvested, local, and natural materials! In the making of our products we strive to utilize as much of what we produce & harvest ourselves, here on our farm. Most of our wool products come from the fleeces of our sheep. All the wood used in our wooden items comes from either our farm, or woodlands within a 50 mile radius; all responsibly harvested, by us, with the health of the forest ecosystem as top priority. Only solid wood is used and never any stains, so you'll only see the natural colors of the many beautiful species we have to offer. We do hope you enjoy, as much as we do, the natural beauty and quality craftsmanship you'll find in all our products!

❋In our attempt to be an ecologically conscience business, we use post-consumer recycled products whenever possible. We also reuse packaging as much as possible and do not purchase any plastic for use in shipping or packaging products. If you do receive plastic along with your item(s), please know that it's been reused!

❋Please note, if you'd like to purchase multiple items from different sections of our shop, contact us so we can give you the best shipping price possible.

I could not be more pleased with the custom floating shelf HalinHoofFarm made for me. As pretty as this photo is here, it does not do the piece justice. The grain is gorgeous and the shelf is perfect for my kitchen. I cannot say enough about working with Valarie and Chris - from our first discussion about possibilities, to the final delivery, they have been terrific. I am not used to this level of care and customer service, often there were messages waiting to me because they were so quick with turnaround. Their consistently high rating is well deserved. I am so glad I reached out to them for this project.

About

Haulin' Hoof Farm: A family adventure full of creativity

We're a family that loves creating! Everything that has been made by the hands of our ancestors, we seek to try ourselves. We love the feeling of productivity, spending our time building, baking, cooking, farming, sewing, sculpting, weaving, knitting, woodworking, and whatever else we may newly discover that produces something either necessary, practical, or just plain beautiful! There's always a sense of excitement in what the day will bring, what we'll teach our children in both values and skills, and what we'll be creating together as a family! We feel blessed to be surrounded by the plethora of natural resources that keep us, from the tall trees on our farm to the animals that provide us with food, fiber, and horsepower. We're so happy to share all these things we make with our weathered hands, with the world, through Etsy!
Along with our handy work produced on the farm, we operate Fox Natural Building Company. Its focus is on timber framing and building with local Appalachian woods. You can learn more about Fox Natural Building Company by visiting www.foxnaturalbuilding.com, or clicking on the web link below.

Thank you for your time and we hope you have a happy day!

Frequently asked questions

Can I reserve an item or put it on hold?

Yes, we will reserve items for up to 3 days.

What type of finish do you use on your wood products?

We use an all natural, hand crafted, premium penetrating oil made without the use of toxic heavy metal dryers or petroleum products. They're very rich, with a high solids content, creating very durable, well protected surfaces. The oil blend wicks deep into the fibers and grain of the wood, enhancing patina and grain pattern. Furthermore, it leaves the wood with a soft, natural feel, without the "plastic coated" look, and will never crack or peel like most varnish or polyurethane finishes. To learn more about the finish we solely use on our products visit: www.heritagenaturalfinishes.com

Can I receive shipping discounts when ordering multiple items?

Yes! If you are purchasing multiple items, please contact us so we can try and get you the best shipping price possible. Thank you!

What is the best way to ship the heavier items, such as shelves and cutting/serving boards?

We are able to ship many of the shelves and serving boards in a large flat rate priority box. As long as the length and width aren't over 23.5" x 11.5, we can fit up to two shelves, and multiple cutting boards per box for a cost of $18.85. This goes for international orders as well, as long as the total weight doesn't exceed 20 pounds.
