The House of Haus of Ariella

I have always adored the act of creation, whether it's a pair of earrings, a photograph, or a loaf of bread. As a result, I've dabbled in numerous crafts and arts during my life - knitting, embroidery, sewing, writing, cooking, etc. A few of those have really stuck with me though. Photography, digital art, and jewelry making have become my trio of passions over the years.

When my husband and I got engaged, I went into crafting overdrive working out DIY ideas for our wedding. After ordering far more cufflink materials than we needed for our 3 groomsmen, my husband suggested that I might want to start selling some of them on my favorite website - Etsy. Soon, Haus of Ariella was born.

The first pair of cufflinks quickly expanded to other items. Eventually, I bought a professional-quality printer to print my own art and photography. Haus of Ariella is still, and always will be, a work in progress, because I will never stop trying to improve my shop, my skills, and myself.

Haus of Ariella would not be possible without the continued support of my wonderful husband, John. He is a driving force behind the shop, always encouraging me to explore new avenues and helping me to solve problems.

    Shop members

    • Ariella Carver

      Owner, Maker, Designer

My husband and I live in beautiful Western North Carolina with our four cats. While I have a desk job during the day, I spend my free time creating the things I love.

    • John Carver

      Chief Engineer, Master Problem Solver

My oh-so-amazing husband is the engineering mastermind behind Haus of Ariella. John can fix just about anything and is the one I turn to when I can't quite figure out how to make something work. This shop runs on his help and encouragement.

    • Lily Potter

      Head Supervisor, Lead Meddler

Lily personally oversees the production of each item from Haus of Ariella. She's a Brooklyn native, but has adjusted admirably to living in North Carolina.

    • Mr. Darcy

      Stealth Expert, Weenie Extraordinaire

Mr. Darcy enjoys hiding behind bathroom doors and cowering behind toilets. He was a foster cat I got while I was living in Korea, but I couldn't give him up and adopted him myself.

    • Judas

      Resident Geezer

Judas aka Jude is the oldest of the cats. He's an ornery 15-year-old Maine Coon who mostly spends his days sleeping. He occasionally rouses himself to lay a beat down on the rambunctious younger cats.

    • David Lo Pan

      Affection Aficionado

Dave is the newest addition to the family. He's a bit of a doofus, but he's an absolute sweetie and desperately wants people to pet him.

    Additional policies and FAQs
All of my items are made in a smoke-free home. While my four cats are an important part of my life, I do my best to keep them away from crafting supplies and fabric, and I de-fur everything before I ship it.
