Rebecca is a sweet girl with a good sense of humor. She collects antique photo booth photos and illustrated books, and has an unusually strong memory for things that she sees.

Her education is in studio art, photography, art history, and public history. She earned an advanced degree in ‘The History of Photography’ and is full-time Photo Archivist (a job that warms the heart, doesn't quite pay the bills.)

After a day of processing, digitizing, and researching historic images, she spends her evenings with other passions. This often includes the studying, collecting, mending and re-selling of ladies’ and gentleman’s vintage attire from the late 1950s through mid-1960s and sometimes beyond.

She’s a tomboy of sorts and while she is known to regularly wear a neatly-fitting shift dress or full skirt, she has no real desire for high-end fashion. She’s much more interested in wearable vintage attire-- the classic stuff that everyday guys & gals wore about fifty years ago.

When it comes to personal style, Rebecca seeks to emulate the look of a college student from 1962 through…about 1964. As specific as that might seem, she is not a vintage purist. She finds lots of inspiration in minimal, non-fussy styles from other eras and might offer this type of attire in her shop, as well.

Beyond admiring traditional boy & girl vintage clothes, Rebecca loves cinema, magazines, books and early rock n roll. As romantic as the name of her shop might sound, Have Love, Will Travel actually comes from the name of a bouncin’ doo-wop song written by Richard Berry in 1959.

Thank you for stopping by 'Have Love, Will Travel', a shop that brings quality materials, classic cuts, and unique pieces to vintage-seeking men and women. We especially love classic attire from the 1960s!

We hail from California's capital city and very carefully select attire from our own community, from the rolling foothill communities to our east, and from communities nearer to the San Francisco Bay.

We hope you like what you see and truly appreciate your support in this venture.

Refunds and Exchanges
Though we do our best to offer high-quality items, vintage attire often shows its age (which can add to its distinct character.)

We work hard to accurately describe our items. Unlike some shops, we go beyond "excellent vintage condition"-type descriptions. We buy vintage, too and appreciate knowing about small imperfections. However, some flaws may go unnoticed. If you receive an item and find it to be different than described, please let us know within 48hrs of receipt so we can come to a happy agreement.

Please ensure that the item that you purchase fits you properly. Only under very rare circumstances do we issue refunds for items that do not fit (buying and selling on the internet is a two-way street. We will ALWAYS be kind to you. Be kind in return and we might be able to work with you!)

If you have any issue with your garment, you must notify us within 48hrs of receipt. If we do grant a refund, you are responsible for return shipping (with confirmation in the US), and a $5 to cover Etsy's cancellation and re-stocking fees.

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase!
