I ordered this for my daughters spaced themed birthday and the first one I received the straps weren’t attached to the star band. I reached out to the shop and let them know and Courtney was quick to respond & super apologetic. She sent me another one and I received it in a timely manner! Couldn’t recommend this shop enough!

These bow ties are beautiful! Courtney was so nice to keep me updated about their progress and when we got them in, we were so happy, they are great quality! I ordered six of them and I love all the colors, we have one for any outfit now; the solid colors are so easy to match up with different dress shirts, but the texture keeps it from looking boring, they are great!

Welcome to Hazel and Birdie

Thank you for taking the time to visit my shop!

I was an Elementary school teacher for 10 years, and I was passionate about my job. After struggling with infertility for several years, we were finally blessed with a daughter in 2014....and now we just added a little boy to our family! I am currently a stay-at-home mom, and it's my dream to continuing staying at home with my children. They have given me the inspiration to put my creative skills in crafting and designs into full affect. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to create beautiful hand-made items and accessories for you and your little ones. My goal is that everyone will be happy with their purchases. So if for any reason you are unhappy, please contact me and we can work something out.

I do not offer refunds on custom orders. If I made a mistake, I will gladly fix or repair your item as soon as possible. I take great care to follow instructions exactly as they are written in our conversations or invoice, so please double check the information you provide.

If you are ordering a headband, please make sure you order the correct headband size for your child. Our sizing chart is approximate and is based on the average head circumference for each age group.

I will not be held accountable for items that are lost in the mail. Once I ship your order, I have no control over what USPS does. If your item is damaged or lost, please contact and I will try and help you resolve the issue.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal accounts, and Etsy gift cards. If you are a Florida resident, you will be charged 6% tax on your items.

Shipping

Processing time is 1-3 days for all items. Smaller items (cake toppers, headbands, bow ties, etc.) ship via USPS First Class, which takes approximately 2-5 business days. Larger items (door signs) are shipped 1-3 day priority mail. Overnight shipping (1 day) is also an option upon checkout, but please check with me first to make sure I can get your order out in enough time.

Florida Residents-Use coupon code FLORIDASHIP at checkout to receive $2.00 off shipping for wreaths and signs!

If you're a local customer in the Tampa Bay area, and would like to pick up your order at a local location, please use the coupon code TAMPAFREE at checkout for free shipping. When your order is ready, I will message you to schedule a pick up. This does not include orders under $15.00.

Additional policies and FAQs

Some of the items sold contain small parts that could potentially be a choking hazard to little ones. Please make sure accessories are worn with adult supervision. Never let your child sleep with hair accessories in the hair. Hazel and Birdie will not be held liable.
