( in bright pink, robin's egg blue, grasshopper green, and lovely lavender and each with flower details on the back!) As soon as I saw this chick though, she reminded me of ME! She is carrying an oversized purse like I do AND she is wearing what reminds me of a Mary Poppins hat! ( I wish I still had mine :) THANK YOU! THANK YOU! She may be collecting flowers or seeds or sticks or little stones to help keep her neighborhood eco friendly. Fancy Nancy is wearing her jaunty bright blue jewel-toned hat with sparkles and flowers so she can easily be seen by her other animal friends AND she is ready to break out in song because SPRING is here!

My cat Dobby is my devoted shop assistant. She is happy to chase loose threads or dropped beads.
Pins, ornaments, and fun accessories to add some beauty and whimsy to your life!
I started thinking about an online craft shop several years ago. I have always always ALWAYS loved to craft things. I enjoy hand stitching, decorative painting, paper crafts, calligraphy, and crochet. A few years ago, I set out to teach myself a number of embroidery stitches, and I made a valentine heart pin for my sister, incorporating several types of stitches. I was very taken with how it turned out. She wore it on her lapel when she went out for a valentine dinner with her husband, and the waitress complimented her pin. When my sister informed her it had been made by hand, the waitress was curious to know if the pins were for sale someplace nearby. This gave me the idea that people might enjoy the results of my new-found embroidery hobby. I next donated a large number of pins to my son's school, asking them to sell them at school to raise money for the school. I added some beads and sequins, thinking a little sparkle would make them more attractive for little girls in the school. The pins sold out so quickly that I figured I must be onto a good idea!

All the items in my shop are made with care in my smoke-free home.
If you have severe allergies to cats, please be cautious when purchasing from my shop. I do keep the kitties away from my stitching projects, but there is always the possibility of a stray cat hair being inadvertently included in your package.
The items in my shop are decorative, and most of them include small beads, buttons, sequins, or small pieces of felt. These are potential choking hazards, so most of my creations are not suitable as gifts for small children.
