Tranquil Art with Intention

Music and art speak directly to our hearts.

In our hectic world, with all the distractions, with all the stress, the hurt, the frustration, I like to create music with the intention to provide calm, serenity, a moment of pause for us to catch our breath. To illustrate the experience of God’s love, hope, joy. To breathe some healing into the sore places in our souls. Because it is through these things that we remember why we’re here. Remember what our humanity looks like. Maybe even remember how to find our joy amidst the chaos.

I have long had a fascination with the simplicity of pen and ink work, and color. In my quest to marry my love of music with the occasional yen to draw, I put pen to paper in inspiration of places and feelings evoked by my music, and incorporating the musical notation itself.

Thank you for stopping by.
Many blessings,

“The meaning of Life is to find your Gift; the purpose of Life is to give it away.” (Pablo Picasso)

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
