Pint of Paint

San Francisco, California 1 Sale On Etsy since 2011

Announcement   Coming from a professional theatrical background I just love to play with textures, and to paint large scale artwork. If the studio had wider walls I’d create bigger pieces even. My brushes and tools also relate to my profession that is theater painting. The range of my tools varies between fine cutting brushes, over 7” wide thick broom brushes, to manually adjusted rollers, putty knifes, trowels and many more for new textures.

I'm originally from Germany and I've been working as a professional theater artist for more than fifteen years, and I graduated with First Class Honors from the University of Fine Arts in Dresden, Germany.

During the past years I combined my passion for traveling, art, and theater by working for a wide range of theaters in Europe and the USA. The diverse backgrounds and visions of these theaters allowed me to utilize many different skills, be creative, and expand my technical repertoire.

After twelve years in the theater business of San Francisco Bay Area I have recently moved with my family to Madison, Wisconsin. A new chapter, new challenges, new adventures, new theaters, and new art.

Please find more if you like at: http://www.pintofpaint.com

Best wishes,

Hello & Hallo,

Welcome to my Pint of Paint shop!

In case you live in or around of San Francisco, please feel free to contact me for a studio visit. That way you will have the chance to meet with the artist in person, and also to check out the original artwork before committing to any purchase. What an advantage!
In my studio you will also find some beautifully painted LARGE SCALE WOODBOARDS (36"x36"). The only reason that they are not posted here in Etsy is that they are not easy to ship. But please feel free to check out my website at http://www.pintofpaint.com. Under 'Loop de Loop' you will find all of the artwork painted with stain, shellac, acrylic and silver-leaf on self-built wood boards.

My studio is located in the artsy Mission District in San Francisco. I'd be more than happy to meet up with you whenever convenient for you.

Thanks so much for your interest in my artwork and for checking out my shop.

Best wishes & Alles Gute,
*heike
