Heist, the company, officially began the year after I graduated with my Bachelor of Music degree. I continued on to study copyright law a few years later, but all the while I was making jewelry and building Heist every spare moment I had. Upon graduation from law school (and passing two bar exams!) I dipped my toes into corporate America and quickly decided 'The Good Ol' Boys Club' wasn't for me. All the while Heist was there, slowly growing and gaining more traction. So when the day came when it became clear there wasn't enough time to do both, it was an easy decision to make.

I am now a full-time leathersmith and a proud entrepreneur. I make Heist for those who march to their own beat, live life on their own terms, and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. I always root for the underdog and love a good self-made success story.

My goal is to make timeless, high-quality pieces that are effortless enough to wear and use everyday. I am proud to source the finest ethical materials: Free-range buffalo leather from a ranch in Colorado and second-hand leather salvaged from everything from coats to couches. I strive to save as much landfill-bound material as possible and I never support factory-farming operations.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept exchanges
Contact me within: 5 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
I don't accept returns or cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
All sales are final, no refunds.

Exchanges may be made on unused, unworn items but are subject to a 10% restocking fee + shipping costs + any price difference. Exchanges must be made within 5 days of receiving your item by contacting me and requesting an exchange. Items must be postmarked within two weeks and buyer is responsible for shipping charges. We cannot accept unauthorized returns and are not responsible for items lost in transit. Please add Shipping Confirmation/Tracking to ensure safe delivery.

Sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange.

We are not responsible for items lost, stolen or delayed in transit. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe an item was damaged in transit.

Leather is a natural material that may include small blemishes and unique markings. These are normal and add to the unique character of your Heist item.
We accept Paypal and Etsy Direct Checkout payments.
Domestic Orders: All items over $75 will ship for free through USPS First Class. Tracking is included. Insurance is optional, please contact me to add insurance.

International Orders: Shipped using USPS First Class International, which does not include tracking. Buyer is responsible for any customs taxes or duties.
Please allow extra time for items to clear customs.

Because our items are all handmade, your order might have slight variations from posted photos. Items may be slightly different in color due to your monitor's settings.

CARE: Protect and nourish your leather goods with a quality leather conditioner. Be sure to spot test the product on a hidden area before applying to check for any discoloration.
