I've been involved in crafts ever since my tiny little fingers looped balloons around a clothespin and called it a doll. I like to experiment with lots of different types of mediums. I started my shop after a neighbor asked to buy a piece of jewelry I was wearing, a cross stitch ladybug scrabble tile which led to opening my Etsy shop and setting up at local craft festivals and selling in local shops like Alternative Jewelry in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

I started dabbling with different jewelry making tutorials. I discovered wire wrapped jewelry and fell in love with the orange copper and the wood rust earthtones. I took a wire wrapping class and learned about the different wire gauges and hammering techniques.

I hope to add soldering, metal stamping, and other metalsmithing techniques to my jewelry once I take the necessary classes. I hope to continue to expand because creations and DIY movement is a ever building fascination for me. I also started sewing. I bought a Bernina and started quilting. Quilted pouches and other fun sewing creations will be added to my shop soon. My woodcrafting husband is considering joining me in my crafting endeavors by adding his woodcarved creations.

When I am not crafting, I teach English courses at a local University part-time while I complete the teaching certification process and the special education endorsement. I currently hold a Masters in British Literature. I have two boys who are 8 and 10 years old. Throughout the summer, we enjoy creating and crafting. My youngest is a talented origami and clay artist. He also has learned to hand-sew to make felt plushies.
