Shop policies

Thanks so much for stopping by my little shop! Everything is handmade by me in Cardiff, UK. I use organic, fairly traded, vintage and recycled materials wherever possible and aim to create unique items to make the recipient feel super special.

I am inspired by colour, season, luxurious yarns and the story behind secondhand materials. I love scouting for vintage fabrics, lace and buttons and would live in a wool shop if I could!

Please do feel free to get in touch and it would be most lovely to see you over at my blog: www.helenlimbrick.com where I share inspiration and new creations plus tutorials, patterns and recipes as well as designer-maker features. I can also be found on Twitter (www.twitter.com/helenlimbrick) and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/helenlimbrick).

I also have a boutique shop where I sell my one of a kind seasonal creations - www.helenlimbrick.folksy.com.

Accepted payment methods

  • Check
Payment
I only accept payments through Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account, just follow on-screen instructions for how to pay) and am hopeful that you will pay within twenty-four hours of buying your chosen item(s) so that I can set about wrapping and posting your special parcel. If I have not received your payment within three working days I will cancel the order and relist the item.
Shipping
Once payment is received you can expect your parcel of joy to be on its way to you within 3 working days - longer if you've asked for something to be freshly made especially for you.
I post first class in the UK and standard airmail to everywhere else and will always obtain a proof of postage receipt.
Please get in touch if you require insurance or any other additional services and please note that extra costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Buyers are also responsible for any customs charges, taxes, tariffs, duties or other receiving fees incurred.
I'm into recycling and being thrifty so don't be surprised if your item is packaged in a recycled or homemade envelope.
Refunds and Exchanges
I take great care to ensure customer satisfaction, but in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your item, please return it within seven days (unused and in saleable condition) and I will issue a refund. I cannot refund some custom orders, for obvious reasons.

If there is a problem, please get in touch before leaving feedback in case I can fix it - thanks!
Additional policies and FAQs
I will happily consider custom orders if you get in touch. I am also happy to supply some of my items on a wholesale basis - please get in touch for terms and conditions and a price list.
