Meet the Helms Honey family.
Helms Honey is a beekeeping family business that specializes in honey bee products.
In Spring of 2016, my husband and I became beekeepers. We started off with two hives and expanded with two more this Spring. The bees had other plans, and we now have six beehives in our backyard. Harvesting honey early this Summer led to creation of Helms Honey. We collected, bottled, and sold 100 pounds of honey this year!!! It has been a really exciting time for our family.
Honey bees are incredible, because everything they create is usable! With wax removed during the honey extraction process, we make our Helms Honey lip balms. They have become every bit as popular as our honey! We take a lot of time and care into our lip balm formula and flavors. Each one is a labor of love.
Helms Honey Rolled Candles are created from the comb that the honey bees store their pollen, nectar, and honey in. Every candle has a unique look, because we hand roll them ourselves. It is so exciting that we can share the beauty from inside the beehives with our customers through these candles.
Building our Helms Honey brand and product line has been such an incredible adventure for our family. We truly hope you enjoy your Helms Honey lip balms and candles.
