Personalized Home Decor

We are 6 women that have worked together in an embroidery and screen printing shop for over 20 years! Through that time we've become good friends and together we've learned so much.

How wonderful to have discovered Etsy and a community who appreciates handmade products! Using our combined 50 years of experience in the printing industry, we decided to do something completely different for us. We purchased a direct to garment printer and found a source for USA Made pillow covers and inserts. Then, we got to work designing the wide assortment of images you see on our pillows.

We love providing customization to our pillows making them a one of a kind and very appreciated gift. One added feature of printing our products ourselves, is the ability to allow our clients to choose their own ink color on most of our products. It's always so fun when we get to see photos of them in their final home and see how well they 'fit'. We have many fun, crazy and color filled packed days printing pillows and bags, stuffing inserts and packaging them all up for shipping throughout the world:)

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
NON-PERSONALIZED/CUSTOMIZED ITEMS:
If your product was not customized in any way (color, name, date, etc.) and has not been washed, you can return it within 7 days for a refund (less shipping) it you decide not to keep it. (The HOME pillow is CUSTOMIZED as you are choosing your colors.)

If there is a flaw in the item, please contact us within 48 hours and included a photo of the flawed area. We will send you a shipping label to send it back to us and produce and send a new item within 5 business days.

PERSONALIZED/CUSTOMIZED ITEMS:
This includes items where you have chosen an ink color, added a name, date or text.
Because these items have been created per your specifications (customized/personalized), we cannot accept returns on these made-to-order items.

INK COLOR ISSUES:
We have done our best to describe the colors we are printing. However, due to the nature of screens and monitors, it is impossible to show you the exact color the ink will be on your item. What looks like one color on my screen, may look different on yours. Your cell phone screen may look different than your laptop, etc. Brightness settings will make a difference, as well.

~~WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ITEMS THAT THE INK COLOR IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU SEE ON YOUR SCREEN - as we don't have a way of seeing what that is. (Unless we have totally printed the wrong color, i.e. Black instead of Red.)

~~Keep in mind, that different people will have different ideas of what 'Maroon' looks like, for example.

~~The direct to garment inks we used are water based and ecologically friendly. They are soft - not bright and vibrant like screen printing. When we print on burlap, the colors will be muted, when printing on natural colored fabrics, the ink will be softer looking than when we print on white fabrics. Each fabric or item type is unique, but they are look beautiful when completed.

WHEN WE GOOF~ We try really hard not to:) But, at certain times of year, things can get pretty crazy around here. If that happens and your item has been printed incorrectly, the ink color is totally wrong (you chose red and we printed black), there is a flaw with a zipper, the wrong size was made, etc. ~ We will make it right!
Payment
We accept both Paypal and Credit Cards as payment. You will be able to choose your payment option in the shopping cart. Sales Tax will be charged if you are shipping your item(s) to Washington State. International buyers will be responsible for any custom fees or duties that your country applies.
Shipping
Shipping Notification: You will receive a shipping notification when we create the shipping label for your order. It will include either a USPS or UPS tracking number. You can always find the tracking info in your account under "Purchases & Reviews".

International Shipping: Orders are sent via USPS First Class Mail. Once we ship an order, it will usually leave the United States in 3 days. We cannot estimate when you will receive you order as it will depend on how long it may sit in your country's customs. 3-4 weeks is probably a good time frame to expect your package. But we have found that in some country's, it may be up to 6 weeks - particularly Brazil.

Washing Instructions: SPOT CLEAN ONLY - We advise this method of cleaning for our natural cotton and burlap products. Our 100% Cotton Pillow Covers will shrink when washed - and may not fit back into the form. Burlap will not hold it's shape - SPOT CLEAN ONLY. We cannot accept items for return that have been washed.

WHERE DO I PUT MY PERSONALIZATION INFO?: After you add your purchase to your shopping cart, you will see a box directly under the photo of the item you are buying that says: Note to HenHouseOriginals. Here is where you can type in the info you need us to know. If you need something by a certain day, let us know that as well and we will do our best to make it happen.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, Karmin Kippen, contact me or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

1.) Any personal information received by you, the buyer, such as name, address, email address and the details of the product that you are ordering or any further details will be used only for providing customer service to fulfill your order and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. That information could be maintained up to 7 years.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices. Etsy does not provide any credit or debit card account information to individual shops. Any questions in regards to marketing messages sent by Etsy would need to be directly addressed with them. I have no control over Etsy’s usage of such information.
