Great communication from seller. Great design. Extremely comfortable to wear and I've worn it every day since item arrived on my doorstep. Always get compliments for it. Quick shipping. Really great overall experience. Would purchase from again.

Welcome to Hephaestus Designs. Our name is taken from the Greek god of fire, metalworking and handicrafts. Chainmaille is a time-honored craft dating back hundreds of years. I take old forms and apply new techniques to create beautiful, quality work. Every piece I make is woven by me, one ring at a time.

Additional policies and FAQs
I try and use only the highest quality materials. But due to the nature of the metals, some tarnishing may occur, and should be expected. Metal items may be cleaned with a mild detergent or tarnish remover. Items containing fabric (such as juggling balls) may be rinsed in warm water and left to dry thoroughly.

Some metals cause minor allergic reactions, and may discolor the skin. Items containing copper may turn skin green, while raw aluminum may turn the skin black. This is natural, and will wash off. If you have concerns with allergies, you may request items made from hypoallergenic metals such as stainless steel or sterling silver.

I am always looking for new ideas, and love doing custom work. If you see an item you like, and want modifications (color, material, size, etc.) please don't hesitate to ask.
