Herbs & Sea prices are composed of handmade, high quality, weight and specificity of herbs, oils, incense, waxes, etc.. For example, a rose product is significantly higher in price than peppermint, because the cultivation, care, effort of harvesting and distillation are different. For example, one drop of rose oil is obtained from 100 kg of rose petals. Therefore, in a very cheap product, you will never find natural & BIO qualified rose oil. Herbs are lighter & roots are heavier, they have different weight. There are herbs that are rare and these are then also higher in price.

Herbs & Sea as a concept, originally came out of a sticker for dog food, in a magical situation on the Atlantic Ocean, which gave Katja the first impulse to emigrate to Portugal. Katja touches the special & fast healing energy, the warmth of the Portuguese, the beautiful, diverse country and the magical colors of turquoise Atlantic, golden sand and lavender sunset of Portugal deep in her heart. Whenever she had transformative processes, emotional depths & search for the way forward, short time in Portugal helped her to come back to Germany with high energy. After a short time she knew that she wanted to spend her life there and bring this energy to the people through her work. After deciding to emigrate, she found her soul mate and now husband who is Portuguese. All products are charged with the spiritual energy of Portugal. More about the products (see below)

Katja Barnasiow Pereira had a deep, spiritual connection to nature & animals as a child. Through her mom, who is passionate about plants and her garden, she discovered a special connection. One day she steadily got impulses & dreams about recipes with herbs & plants that connect with spirituality. The respect & humility for this, led her into training as a herbalist, in one of the largest schools of medicinal plants in Germany. It was always important for Katja to feel the energy & high quality as she used herbs & plants in her work with women. Katja was very often disappointed by the quality of the ordered goods (sometimes old, energetically not high quality or it was not obvious how untreated). Also the descriptions of the products are too unspecific and too general. Very often she was asked by her customers for recommendations for high quality and could rarely give an answer. This was one of the decisive points why Katja wanted to take the matter into her own hands.

Her love, knowledge and mission to share with the world is the connection & appreciation to nature. Katja sees these values drowning in our stimulus-flooded, fast-paced time but she also feels that people do more good for themselves and question a lot more. The ethics & more accurate information on use are important to her. A lot is sold but often without deeper knowledge on different levels. Through her incense magic & courses Katja Barnasiow Pereira brings women closer to the herbs & medicinal plants.

She tells about it, explains, lets the participants dive into the energy of the plant, smell, feel and taste. In this way, she passes on her knowledge and people find "their" plants and know how to use them. Since (also quite everyday) herbs & medicinal plants such as rosemary, chamomile, peppermint contain active ingredients that act on an emotional level and in the Unterberwusstein, it is important to her to enlighten there. This & by the demand arose the desire to sell high-quality organic products themselves.
