About herzepuenktchen

Sales 304
On Etsy since 2021

Do more of what makes you happy 💕

I am Carmen aka herzepuenktchen and the creative head (as well as purchasing, marketing, sales, shipping, accounting and much more.m. 😅 ) of this shop.

As a child I tried many handicrafts - window pictures with window colors, silk painting, wire trees etc. What was just so trendy, was participated and generously distributed to the family.

After a long break, I came to paper crafts through a friend, which I still like to do today (see my Insta account).

From time to time, however, you also want to try something new, and so some time ago another favorite was added: concrete casting.
Actually, the exact opposite of paper.
When making paper, I often let myself drift and at the beginning I don't know what will come out of it in the end.
Concrete is different. Once you've become firm, you can't do much about it. You have to put the horse on 😉 from behind
A wonderful addition, I think.

I'm excited to see where the journey will lead in the future – but no matter what I do, there's a lot of heart and soul (and a bit of meticulousness) in it 💕.

Et voilà, here I am :-)

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

You can gently wipe all items with a dry or mist-damp soft cloth without detergent. The concrete articles are basically waterproof and frost-proof.However, I recommend bringing decoration inside over the winter. You should also avoid that the articles are exposed to moisture or moisture for a long time without being able to dry off in between. So your favorite pieces remain pretty for a long time.

Material

For my grey articles ("made of concrete") I use a concrete mixture which, cured and dried, results in a light grey that goes slightly into the beige colour. In addition, the concrete is very finely grained, so that the finished parts appear just as evenly smooth, almost delicate. The concrete is waterproof. This means that he doesn't mind a few drops of splashing water or even a rain.I cast my white articles ("from ceramic casting compound") from Raysin - a casting compound that combines the positive properties of concrete and gypsum in the best possible way.Raysin is lightweight, smooth and yet stable (much more stable than plaster).Unfortunately, Raysin is not waterproof, so the white decoration is only suitable for indoor use.

Maintenance of the soap shelves

Tips for your concrete soap tray:Do not place the soap dripping wet on the shelf. The shelf is made of waterproof material and can spray water - but if it still gets a few drops too much, it is best to dry it with a soft cloth.Remove soap residues as soon as possible.Use a damp, soft cloth without detergent - please do not hold the shelf under the running faucet or submerge it under water.

Item Pickup

You are also welcome to pick up your order from me in 90763 Fürth or we will meet for handover in the area.Write to me about it, and we will make an appointment (no shop available).

Gift wrapping and packaging

Shipping packaging:I use new but sometimes used boxes or envelopes for shipping.I also use purchased or self-preserved material, newsprint or the like as filling and upholstery material and for inner packaging. Please do the same and continue to use these materials. The environment and your wallet thank you.Gift wrap:I try to keep the gift packaging as plastic-free as possible and use colored kraft paper; the bow is made of coarse yarn (similar to linen).Of course, the packaging is licensed with a dual system.
