J'adore ce tableau . La broderie de cette tête de chat est très belle et l'idée de la dentelle le rend extrêmement original et raffiné . Son regard nous suit : bienveillant , attentif ou inquiétant ? Une petite perfection

Do you Voodoo?
Anne-Claire Regan aka Hibou (eeboo = “Owl” in French) is the playful mind behind Hibou Designs.
Inspired by the stories of her son and the tradition of craft transmitted by the women in her family, Anne-Claire believes in the power of naïveté, and channeling a childlike enthusiasm into her creations. Initially starting out as a card designer, one day she incorporated felt into one of her cards, and her focus immediately shifted to creating with fabric.
She has since been offering an array of colorful one-of-a-kind, all hand sewn felt plush art toys and “Feltscapes” (framed felt landscapes) using owls and other animals as her primary template. Many of her pieces, like the popular "Voodoo Doll", have been featured in magazines. Some pieces like her "Character Dolls" are adorned with vintage French fabric, lace and buttons handed down by her family members for generations. Some other designs showcase an intricate embroidery.
She makes her designs with her customers in mind. Her creations have to make them smile and touch their inner child's sense of wonder and playfulness.
"Colorful", "whimsical" and "witty" would be the best three words to describe her work's esthetic.
A native of France, Anne-Claire currently lives in Boston, MA, with her husband Brion, a musician and French food lover, and her ever so inspiring son, Jack.
Her work has been shown at various art galleries and craft shows around the US.
You can see more of it on her Etsy shop at www.HibouDesigns.Etsy.com as well as a more "behind the scene" look on her instagram at https://instagram.com/hiboudesigns/

Additional policies and FAQs
# Please be advised that most of my designs are more suitable to be treated as collectible items for adults rather than toys for children.
# I strive to make my little shop as environmentally friendly as possible. I use a mix of eco-friendly and wool blend felt.
I use a lot of vintage materials too. My buttons are all vintage from France unless otherwise stated. I also use vintage fabric and even vintage cotton thread sometimes.
# Please bear in mind that almost all Hibou Designs items are one of a kind. As a consequence I may not be able to reproduce the same design in exactly the same way if that was your wish. However I will always try to accommodate you and come up with a design you will like :)
# I am glad to accept custom orders. Please convo me to discuss what you would like and I will let you know if I can make it. I may not always be able to accept custom orders. Depending on my schedule with holidays and craft fairs I may not take such orders with short notice.
# I am open to discuss wholesale and consignment agreements.
