About

The Studio That Outgrew a Bedroom

Hi!
My name is Anna.

I began my Etsy business in my small bedroom and have never looked back, always forward. As my skills in knitting and sewing grew (and grow!) I advance my products as well as materials. Things are always made with love.

Hibougirl Crafts has been seen in person at the Kent Farmer's Market during the summer of 2008. Products are also happily carried at Art Fx in Fremont.

I want to have my own studio (preferably outside my home) someday where I can not only create wonderful costumes but run classes in sewing, knitting, and other crafty makings.

My life aesthetic has become "weird, but interesting" and I am working to cultivate this shop to reflect that. I love exploring all things darkly romantic, as well as whimsical and cheerful.

xoxo,
Anna

Hello dears! I am an admin by day and a knitter and seamstress by night. Storytelling is very important to me and I love it when things I find have a story to tell. Have fun browsing. xoxo, Anna

My personal style is very eclectic and permeates my work. I love taking discarded things and remaking them into new and interesting pieces.
My knitting work comes from a desire to populate the world with odd and beautiful woolen things for keeping warm! My sewing leans more into my love for fairy tales, especially Grimms Fairy Tales, I love seeing a darker twist on fables we have been spoon-fed from the bright and sugary Disney machine.

All items come from a pet and smoke free home. They are all made with love and figuratively steeped in coffee and quirk.

Refunds and Exchanges
RETURN/EXCHANGE:
-If a product doesn't fit, I'm willing to exchange it for another size or similar item within 30 days of your original payment. Please send me an email or convo stating the problem and we'll work something out.

-I will accept the return of a product that has been tried on for fit provided it has no deodorant and make up markings or body odor. So try it on over something such as a clean camisole or undershirt.

-I as seller reserve the right to be the judge of garment/product treatment before refunding you as buyer.

-It is your responsibility as Buyer to notify me via email first aimleyg (AT)gmail(DOT)com. Please put Product Return/Exchange in the subject line. If you have extenuating circumstances (i.e. moving/no internet more than 30 days) contact me anyway and we'll work something out. Been there, done that!

-You as Buyer must pay return shipping costs, and I'm willing to give you a reduced shipping to get the final/exchanged product back to you!
