Welcome! The Bits of Life Shoppe is tenatively named after my blog (http://hiccupps-stuff.blogspot.com/) Truth be told I've been working on a new name for a year and still haven't found it! ;)

My general process and philosophy is...I make what I like. I try to branch out from my personal tastes and often end up thrilled with the results. I've been 'crafting' since I was...young. 8? Its one of the things that I've kept with me all my life. I feel silly calling myself artistic, but I definitely have my creative outlets and I'd be lost without them.

I really prefer PayPal, it just makes things smoother :) But I do accept ***US*** money orders (I had a bad experience with a Canadian money order, if you know of a better way, feel free to pass it along!) and personal checks. And of course...I'm going to wait for checks to clear before shipping your item, but you knew that, right? :)

Payment must be received/sent within 3 days, unless other terms are agreed upon in advance.

You may cancel any purchase IF is has NOT been paid for. If payment has been sent, I will refund your money MINUS any paypal fees.
I know shipping rates anymore take the fun out of shopping online, so I've recently adjusted my rates to reflect First Class postage. It is technically slower, but I've always had good luck with it, and haven't noticed a dramatic time difference with it.

I typically ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will always let you know if that's not possible for some reason. (very rare, but I do live in the midwest and there are times where ice has to be cleared from the roads...)

Additional Services: insurance, confirmation, etc. Glad to do it, convo me before you purchase or leave a note to seller and I'll adjust the price to reflect any changes.

international customers: I do ship internationally, but please convo me before purchase so I can check any added fees/requirements related to your location. I often get back to you the same day.
Refunds and Exchanges
Absolutely! ...though there are some rules :)

Please notify me with any problems right away! The last thing I want is someone to be dissapointed with a purchase.

Custom orders - are at my discretion. It depends on the personalization and time/work involved in that item. To be safe, consider any custom orders as 'final'.

Exchanges or Returns - must be brought to my attention within 3 days of your receiving the item(s), must be shipped within 5. Shipping is at your expense, but I will do whatever I can to refund/replace/exchange any item.

This only applies to undamaged, unused items that are in the same condition as they were sent to you. In other words, if you open a box and its not quite what you had envisioned, you're covered :) You may exchange for a similar item, use the purchase price as store credit, or I will gladly refund your purchase price and original shipping cost (not return shipping).

I cannot be responsible for items being damaged, torn, broken, etc during shipping. I package each and every order carefully and ready to stand up to typical shipping conditions. But we all know things happen when shipping. If you're concerned about damage, I highly recommend insurance.

I cannot be responsible if your item is just plain lost. Please make sure your address on file with paypal is current and correct. Again, when in doubt, go for the insurance.
