UNMOUNTED in this Shop & MOUNTED stamps at: etsy.com/shop/triskelt
One-woman shop - yep, I wear all the hats of this 20+ years in business - and New on Etsy as of October 2017.

All unmounted red rubber stamps for your Celtic, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Vintage creativity: cards, altered books, scrapbooking, mixed-media arts, journaling, ATCs, polymer and natural clay, PMC, and more. My stamps are as deeply etched as possible with consideration for the details.

New in 2018 - Vintage Victorian Clip Art as digital downloads. These are from my personal collection of books from the 1800s - oldies and goodies. I've done all the work of scanning, cleaning up, and digitizing; so you can have fun with them.

Oh, and I'll include other creative output, such as coloring pages and collections, cards, and small paintings.

My original art is all drawn by hand and scanned into the computer for clean-up before arranging into the artwork that becomes the plate > mold > vulcanized rubber sheet. I hand cut each image (when image is sold separately), ready for your unmounted stamping needs. I also do all the mounted stamps assembly work for wholesale customers, such as the Triskelt shop here on Etsy. Please respect my Copyrights - my art is how I earn a living. Watermarks won't be in the stamps images. However, I am an Angel Company - you may sell the artwork you create by hand-stamping.

Classic Celtic art comes from many ancient sources: early Celtic Gospels, carved stones, and Victorian art. Scotsman George Bain was the pioneer in showing the methods of knot-work construction. I take these different classic images and re-draw them so that they will make good impressions in rubber, an unique material with specific properties and needs.

I have more stamps to offer in this shop, so please check back. Some images have limited stock at press-time, so they may pop in and out of available stock.

About

Highlander Stamps provides unique Celtic rubber stamps since 1997

Highlander Graphics & Celtic Stamps was created by Kim Victoria and T. E. Watson in 1996 to provide images to the Scottish, Irish, Welsh and overall Celtic interest community around the world.

The art rubber stamps were introduced in 1997 and have since been collected and used by crafters and artists in over 20 countries worldwide, to create visual treats from cards to jewelry and beyond.

Kim Victoria's drawings are frequently praised for accurate depiction of the subjects they represent. The other contributing artists add their own unique style and perspective to all things Celtic. By having several artists' works, Highlander Celtic Stamps continues to offer customers more variety and choices for their stamping pleasure.

Etsy limits the size of the Shop Name, so please know that Highlander Stamps and Highlander Celtic Stamps are one and the same.

Kim Victoria is a Fine Artist, Graphic Artist, Painting With Intention Artist, Teacher and Art Coach.

Arts and crafts have the power of nurturing your spirit, improving your cognitive skills and memory, and simply providing lots of fun. Rubber stamps are a great, fun tool to add to your crafting box.

Kim designed most of the stamps in the collection, and does all of the manufacturing by hand (except for the rubber pressing, a very specialized job, which is done by Circustamps). Kim also does all the computer work involved in the company, and makes most of the sample cards shown with the images.

Drawing has been a major part of Kim’s artistic output throughout her life, so creating Celtic clip-art and rubber stamps was an interesting adventure into entrepreneurship that started in 1996. Her classic training in art comes through in her designs.

She has an extensive background in Old Masters of Art training, and is fascinated with the subtle nuances of seeing, drawing and painting, with hidden geometries and “new eyes.” Be sure to visit Kim's website.

The company was founded by both Kim and her husband, award-winning children’s author T.E. Watson, who is now fully focused on his writing and helping other writers, especially children, by providing inspirational, encouraging, and motivating presentations to schools. Kim uses her Highlander Celtic Stamps to:
• make various samples to exhibit with the stamps, and in Social Media
• cards to send and sell
• Trading Card size art pieces
• Mixed media art

You are always welcome to email with your ideas, comments, and pictures (JPG) of art you've created using Highlander Celtic Stamps.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

My stamps are mass produced for me by Circustamps in California. Red rubber is an old-fashioned material requiring old-fashioned manufacturing methods, yet it is still considered the best, longest lasting material for rubber stamps.

I may be able to help you with your graphic and stamping needs by making a custom sized stamp for you at a custom price. I out-source single stamps at a local business rubber stamp manufacturer, who makes high-quality polymer stamps.

I’ve written a blog post on custom stamps with lots of info at HighlanderCelticStamps.com

Also see my listing for Custom Pet Portraits in the Dog Section.

For other personalized needs please convo me and I'd be happy to answer your questions.

Shipping to U.K., Canada, Europe, outside the U.S.A.

I'm happy to ship anywhere in the World, though I am not responsible for VAT or other import taxes and fees you may incur via your local customs office.
UK Buyers specifically: Anything worth more than £15 which is imported to the UK from a non-EU country is subject to VAT at 20% of the total order value, plus an additional £8 handling fee. You will likely be required to pay this upon receipt of your package. This hefty tax is imposed by your government. Please take this into consideration when making your purchase.

Maximize Shipping to U.K., Canada, Europe, outside the U.S.A.

With shipping and fees costs so high, it is helpful to know how to maximize your purchasing power.

You can order up to 8 ounces of product for the same shipping charge. This can be as many as 20 unmounted rubber stamps, even more if they are small. You are welcome to convo me with a list of the stamps you are interested in to make sure the package will not exceed 8 ounces. You will still have the added VAT and handling fees, but the overall cost will be minimized per stamp. I refund excess shipping charges after weighing the package.

I hope this helps.

What is the difference between a mounted and unmounted stamp?

For complete info on this and other topics, please visit my blog site at HighlanderCelticStamps.com

Mounted stamps - are rubber (or polymer) + cushion + high-quality Eastern Hard Maple wood blocks. They are indexed on top with clear labels.

Unmounted stamps - are trimmed rubber ONLY. These do NOT have any cushion or wood blocks of any kind.
Many stamp artists like to mount their own stamps or use a variety of stamping systems.
Some crafters use the stamps for pottery or other media which requires that the rubber be flexible and/or more washable, thus unmounted is more desirable.
