Hilari has once again handcrafted my newest, favorite earrings. So yummy, I want to eat them! I'm such a sucker for her gorgeous designs, and fabulousness in her packaging - and even the little extra goodies and details! Thanks so much!

My girlfriend loves these earrings and so do I! Very well crafted and they arrived at my door quickly. Highly recommend Hilari Ford!
Lazy Lima Bean
If you called my grandmother and she hadn't done much for the day, she would tell you she'd been a "lazy lima bean" all day. Because she taught me to crochet when I was 6 or 7, I've named my business with her in mind.
What I try to do with Lazy Lima Bean is share my love of creating. I love bright colors and fun patterns. I love learning new techniques and finding ways to tweak them to my own aesthetic which is whimsical, a little silly and fun.
I started making jewelry when the earrings I adored at a department store came in at over $100. Convinced I could make them myself, I found an incredible bead store and taught myself jewelry construction. It was a lot of hit and miss in those days, but I still wear some of that original work.
I've always loved working with paper starting with origami when I was a kid and moving into a grand obsession with rubber stamps as an adult. You will see my aforementioned love of color and pattern in my current collection of cards, collage and paper goods. Sometimes you may even see a bit of my sense of humor - it does come out in bizarre ways (late at night, sleep deprived, computer frustration) but I hope it makes you laugh out loud. I love it when that happens at the craft fairs.
You will see other items listed among the jewelry and the paper. Knits, sewing, polymer clay work, photography are all things I love to do, and they will make guest appearances in the store.
I am blessed enough to be able to do what I love and to have the time to create things. I love, love, love everything on the Lazy Lima Bean shelves, and I think you will too!
