About

Heirloom Quality Knits and Patterns

I come from a line of women who love to make clothing. My mother and grandmother were both high school sewing teachers. My aunt was the one who taught me to knit when I was young. But I didn't pick it up again until I had my first son, and I haven't set my knitting needles down since.

I have lived in Utah, Alaska, Maine, and now Washington. While living in Maine my love for knitting grew into what it is today. "If I'm sitting, I'm knitting." To me, something that is knit should be quality, timeless, and classic. I try to incorporate this idea into my work.

I take care of all the aspects of my shop. From hand-knitting every piece, to making sure that it gets shipped to its new owner. I come up with all of my own designs and patterns. I do feel that a lot of women with children need a creative outlet, so I offer my patterns for sale as well.

God, family, and friends mean the world to me. I am married to a very loving and supportive husband. We have two children and one angel baby that was stillborn. I am grateful everyday for them, and for the opportunity I have to work from home.
