About HillstarFarm
A Little Bit About Us
Hillstar Farm is located south of Tomahawk, WI and sits along the Wisconsin River. We are a family of five that enjoy sharing our love of animals and nature with others.
When you support our farm, you are helping in many ways. Your support goes towards the feeding and well-being of our animals. Every $5 buys one bale of hay. That bale of hay will in turn feed our two Scottish Highland cows or our seven goat does for one day. We feed about 4-5 bales of hay a day. Your support also provides help with keeping our animals’ grounds in good repair. All of our events and tours are offered to the public as a free will donation. Your support helps other families and school children learn about farm life, animal husbandry, gardening, and safe environmental practices while farming. We strive to give our animals healthy, content, and stress-free lives while providing a fun environment for people to visit.
