Great quality. I was a little nervous about sizing but I listened to the seller and didn’t size up and it worked out perfectly. My daughter is older but wasn’t embarrassed to be seen in this.

we received the shorts yesterday and OMG what a difference!!! We tried rompers that we had sent to a local seamstress to add snaps and my daughter hated them. The quality of these are so much better, the snaps are super strong and the fabric is great, breathable but not too thin. She is loving these shorts! I really wish I had just ordered them ahead of time so we had them the whole time! 🤦🏼‍♀️ if we ever go through this again I will be sure to do that. Thanks for the outstanding customer service, we appreciate it! ❤️

Pants are really cute and fit over her Pavlik harness perfectly. High quality fabric and pretty pattern. Can get a little tricky snapping her up when she wiggles, but so nice to have pants for her as it’s been a bit chilly!

How we ended up here!

My sister Elaine's Story:

Hi everyone I'd like to share my daughter's story with you all.
My daughter Belle was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 6 weeks old and was fitted with a Pavlik harness almost immediately. Surprisingly enough the thought of a harness seemed to bother me more than my daughter's experience of actually wearing it! To her, it just became part of life.
After the first couple of days of getting used to the new way of feeding, changing and holding her, the one thing that bothered me the most was that I could no longer dress my little girl in her stylish little outfits.
As the weather got colder it got even harder to keep her warm. I needed to find a solution, so I called on my sister Caroline, who designs and creates clothing.
We came up with a design specially for boys and girls wearing the Pavlik harness.
The pants are put over the head and only close when in the correct position. They do not affect the position of the hips in any way!
They come in a range of different colours to suit every taste.
Belle absolutely adores her stylish new pants and it is so nice to go shopping again for little tops and cardigans to match.
Finally being able to dress Belle up and take the focus away from her harness and onto her beautiful smile brightens up every day for us all.
Belle has inspired us both to start Hip Happy Clothing for all babies wearing a Pavlik harness and hopefully make many more little ones as happy as she is.

Elaine is Belle's mum, my sister. She never takes no for an answer, so when she found no suitable clothes for her daughter while wearing the Pavlik brace, she turned to me, her sister for a solution. Her feedback was essential to the final design.

Sizing details

Sizing when in treatment for hip dysplasia can be very different. I have used five years of research to compile the age ranges on my clothes.
They are based on the shape the legs make when in the brace or cast rather than the age, weight or height of the child. I know that is very odd, but if you have any questions, just message and I'll be happy to help.
Of course, any item can be returned for any reason for a full refund, just get in touch to let me know.
