HistoryofArt is taking a short break

Loading

Note from shop owner I am taking a bit of a break as I finish up library school and brave the job market! Once things settle again, I'll be back at it with a fresh new inventory. Please check back!

I select fine vintage materials and match them with natural stones to create organic compositions. All of my pieces have simple sterling silver findings but could be re-fit with your choice of closure for a small fee. If you see a piece of jewelry that you would like in another color or stone, simply send me a convo and I can start work on a piece you will love.

Currently, I offer mostly necklaces. If you would like a set including bracelet and/or earrings, convo me and I will gladly make a custom listing for you.

Payment
I accept paypal, personal check or money order. If you wish to pay through personal check or money order, your piece will be shipped once your payment has cleared.
Shipping
Don’t you hate falling in love with something on Etsy, deciding you can afford it, then remembering about the pesky shipping price? Me too! All prices at History of Art include shipping fees to any address in the United States.

I currently have shipping to everywhere else listed as $10. If you would are ordering from somehwere outside the United States and would like to pay actual shipping cost, please convo me before check out and I will make a custom listing for you.

I try to recycle beautifully whenever possible. I package outgoing sales with recycled materials in good condition, usually with a little flair. If you would like gift wrap, simply indicate it in the note to seller.

I work full-time and am earning my second Master's degree. However, I usually get shipments out the same day you pay. At the most, I will ship your item within 2 business days of receipt of payment. If orders are especially busy, it may take longer. I am faithful about marking your item as shipped in Etsy and will let you know if shipment will be delayed for any reason.

Packages are mailed without insurance unless requested. History of Art cannot be held responsible for items lost in the mail. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, please notify me in the Note to Seller and wait to pay for your piece until you receive a revised invoice. I have been buying and selling on Etsy for years and have rarely experienced a lost shipment. If an un-insured shipment is lost, I will do my best to replace your item at the same or lower price if you wish.
Refunds and Exchanges
I stand by the quality of my work. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase at HistoryofArt, please send me a convo. I like to handle refunds and exchanges on a case-by-case basis because all issues are unique. I will work with you to find a solution we can both live with!
