Announcement   I paint; I draw; I throw things. ^_^

About my Sections: Initially I attempted to sort my shop by item type (paintings, pottery, jewelry...) but some themes grew so expansive (and often crossed media) that they needed their own section (honey bees, goddesses, etc.) so my shop sections became a weird crossover of both. Feel free to poke around, because you never know what I'll make next (or what forgotten treasure is lurking in some obscure shop corner...).

Thanks so much for checking out my shop!! ^_^

Item arrived very quickly, so I am definitely pleased about that. I got these as a gift to go with my white elephant present for Christmas. I'm sure that whoever gets these will have lips that will be nice and healthy. I would not hesitate ordering again. Thanks so much!

I hit a technological bump in the label-making road and ended up doodling out my frustration in the form of label layouts. The finished products look so much better, but there is something fun about my haphazard scribbling also. ;)

Marigold infused wildflower honey for my Mictecacihuatl Bee Divine lip balm. (The dried marigolds smell soooooo good.) Marigolds are sacred to Mictecacihuatl (or La Santisima Muerta, as she survived the Catholic conversion).

About

I paint; I draw; I throw things.

I was going to write this long, involved story about why I love art and how I came to be all artsy despite years of people putting me down and telling me art wasn't a career option for anyone, and certainly not for me. But you know what? It was depressing. And really, really long. And who wants to read a long, mostly depressing story? No one.

So here's the deal. I love doing artsy things. I've always loved it. Other people realized this before me, and tried to stop me. I used to listen to them, but that resulted in me doodling over all my personal possessions and drawing on my walls. Now I know better. I draw and paint on canvases and paper and put those on my walls (they're much easier to change if you get tired of looking at them or want something different).

I will try pretty much anything creative. Yes I paint, I draw, I throw things ("throwing" is the technical term for making something on a pottery wheel, yes it really is - look it up if you don't believe me; I also make hand built things - clay stuff not made on the wheel), and I make jewelry...and trees. And candles. And other stuff. I just make a lot of stuff. I like to make things. And read. And make obscure references that hardly anyone gets (to books, or movies, or song lyrics, or random geeky things...). So if you like things like that (that are hand made, or geeky, or just random...or creepy, I like creepy things too) then you should check out my shop because that's what's in it. ;)

My shop slogan is "I paint, I draw, I throw things" and while I do these things a lot, I venture into other mediums too. (I make a lot of jewelry also...) I can get addicted to just about anything creative; I just love to make things. ^_^

I do my best to create quality items that are unique. I would be thrilled to make something for you, whether it's a custom item or something already in my shop just waiting to find the right home. I do my best to package each item with care and send it to you efficiently. If you have a problem, question, or any kind of feedback I'll be happy to talk with you about it (feel free to convo me).

Payment
I am currently only accepting PayPal and Etsy direct checkout.
Shipping
I ship by USPS and will put your item in the mail within two days of payment (if it is pre-made, if I haven't made it yet I shall ship it as soon as it is done).

At this time my list of shipping areas is limited, but I am happy to find out the shipping cost for you wherever you are and ship to you! (That's usually how I start shipping somewhere new...).
Refunds and Exchanges
As I general rule I don't do exchanges or refunds...but if your item arrives damaged I will be happy to work to repair or potentially replace it (if possible, since most of my items are one of a kind it may not be possible to replace it - in the instance of a ceramic piece for example, I only have access to a pottery studio for a few weeks a year...).
Additional policies and FAQs
I've done a lot of custom listings for people and would be thrilled to make something special and unique for you! Anything you'd like to know please feel free to ask.
