About hobbithousecreations
Hobbit House Creations ~ A Fairy Tale, of sorts ~
Arthur Hobbit here, Art Hobbit to some, though most call me A. Hobbit. Dwell nigh the Wide Wood, under some moss and rock amidst the tall trees. Prefer dreaming to doing, wondering to working, and eating and dancing at odd hours anytime. Often take long solitary walks that never end that way for I always make a friend, or two, or three in the journey. Enjoy the merry whimsy of our little Shoppe. We welcome all visitors who stop in to eye or to buy, for you will exit with good wishes and a happy thought towards the Lighter side of life.
Hobbit House Creations are found along the wandering way in a dancing ray of light, a floating leaf, the curl of a flower petal, or the flow of a quiet stream. Our friends of the earth, air, and sky and in worlds within and beyond share in creating our designs, inspiring and critiquing them, and offering them as visions out of place and out of time, sideways views of light and life. Belief and Faith infuse all that we do to bring in the Light. May our Creations find a home with you and in your heart.
The full story of the founding of the Shoppe may be found on our Facebook page, first Highlight entry in 2009!

Shop policies
All items listed here are handmade works of art and jewelry from my own designs, and original authored fiction (written material is under copyright). Stained glass pieces utilize both the copper foil method as well as lead and other came. Jewelry is a meld of copper, wood, stained and fused glass. Little books or plaques are specially designed and hand done. Each work is truly one-of-a-kind.
As with all stained glass, wood, and paper products, irregularity of pattern in their manufacture is what adds that surprising and unique aspect to a work. I hope that you will enjoy the flaws along with the flash – that's what life is all about!
I welcome work by commission. If you see a design and would like a creation in a personal color choice, or if you would like a written work created with a particular theme or look, please email me your request. I would be delighted to create that something unusual for you or for that special someone.
I also accept larger pieces by commission (windows, door panels, cabinet fronts, etc). Please email me your ideas and request, and I will work with you to create a design and work to help bring in the Light.
All commissions involve 50% down on design and creation costs when the commission is taken, with the balance of the costs and shipping and handling due upon completion of the work.
