I am – a miniaturist, a jewelry maker, a printmaker, a teacher/trainer, a computer geek, a retiree from the corporate world – many things. But, I am always an artist.

I have been interested in art since childhood and have taken art classes in various different media, including glass fusing, glass bead-making, silversmithing, drawing, painting, printmaking, woodcarving, and many others. I started selling jewelry in 2001--primarily fine silver and fused glass jewelry. And, I started teaching jewelry making classes in 2003. I really love working with silver metal clay and am a certified Senior Instructor for Art Clay World.

In 2007, I got involved with miniatures and have been totally hooked on miniatures ever since. Making miniatures allows me to bring together all of my various artsy interests on all sorts of "little" things. The two things I most enjoy making are miniature books and miniature fine silver accessories, such as serving trays, pitchers, bowls, and picture frames.

In addition to selling on Etsy, I also sell my miniature books at 3 or 4 face-to-face miniature shows a year. And, because I enjoy sharing my love of miniatures with others, I also teach miniature classes--usually miniature bookmaking--a few times a year.
