The Founder: My name is Yulander Taylor; I am the wife of Dexter Taylor and the mother of Natly (25), Ozay (20) and Pazly (18). In 2012 I became The Founder of Holistically You, LLC. Where I provide a variety of holistic services to assist with overall wellness, such as Aromatherapy, Ear Candling, Guided Meditation, Healing Touch, Ionic Foot Detox, Raindrop Technique, Reflexology and Reiki. I handcraft products for the in-store and online (Etsy) Spa Essential Boutique using all-natural ingredients and therapeutic essential oils for the care of bath, body, home, pets and more.

The Journey began in 2008 when a Physician treated me for a low white blood count level (medical term 'leukopenia') The Cancer Doctor explained to me that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. My faith in God and my spirit would not allow me to receive the Physician’s medical report.

The Faith: I took the focus off the Physician’s report and would not allow it to discourage nor rob me of the quality life. So, I begin my journey researching alternatives and the benefits of essential oils. I took it upon myself to get a 2nd opinion and The Physician was unable to pin point the reason for my white blood count being low, which led to a bone-marrow biopsy, which came back negative. My quest lead me to my 3rd opinion. This 3rd Physician was a man of faith as I am. He explained to my husband and I the signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus and in his testing, I had no signs of Rheumatoid Arthritis nor Lupus. He also explained to us about changing my eating habits and how I can build up my immune system which can assist with better heath, balance and overall wellness, by increasing fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans and lean protein in my diet.

The Passion: In between the 3 Physician visits and other testing’s, I was so immersed with changing my life for the better, that I started attending holistic classes and researching other ways to better health and overall wellness, that I stumbled my way into my true calling and passion. Which lead me to the holistic way to Spa you to health…with my spa services and handcrafted spa products.

The Responsibility: I truly believe the benefits of the all-natural holistic ways of bettering our health without the over use of excess manufactured drugs. However, I do understand and believe that Physicians are here to help and assist us with their learned knowledge and experience. However, we also must take account of our body and health, by getting our yearly wellness exams and other necessary testing’s so that we can stay in the know of our own health and wellness.
