Ever since I "borrowed" my dad's 35mm Canon, I've been taking photos. I first began taking photos around my small family farm. My dad would pick up the latest batch of film processed from Costco and find...

Chickens.

Lots of photos of chickens.

But instead of getting mad, my dad ran with it and taught me his passion for photography...which resulted in less photos of chickens and more photos of beautiful sunsets, mountains, and lakes.

And I've continued taking photos. No chickens this time, but photos of our National Parks and areas of beauty in the Pacific Northwest.

I haven't always had the confidence in my photography, which is why I've constantly worked on my technique, my knowledge of my camera, and I will continue to improve my skills until the day I perish.

I hope you enjoy the visual journey of my travels! Now that we have a child, my husband and I don't get out as much, but we're hoping to ramp it back up in the next few years.

In the meantime, we'll hone our skills on photography in low-light of a small blur. :)
