I love the custom painted spoons that I will use as Christmas tree ornaments! I have ordered several times now from Holly Ridge and I love the spoon paintings that I have purchased. I will order again as soon as I have need a special gift!

About

Hi, there. I am Judy Miller Duley, the owner/designer at Holly Ridge Creations.

In the early 1980's, I decided I was going to paint my own Cypress Knee Santa. Keep in mind, I had never painted a lick! I have to admit, that Santa was scary!! I fell in love with painting and discovered that I had been blessed with a gift to create.
My first love is still Cypress Knee Santas and running a very close second are Gourd Santas. I love to take “junk” and vintage finds and give them new life. I also enjoy making my Gourd Head dolls and sculpting.
I began to have requests from friends and family to create something for them. The next step in our journey was craft shows and this has evolved into selling on line.
We do every aspect that goes into our finished projects. That includes cleaning and prepping gourds, leveling cypress knees, cutting and prepping wood sufaces to paint, gathering driftwood, etc. We also forage antique and "junk" stores, estate and farm auctions and yard sales to find treasures to repurpose.
