Thanks Holly for the great print. Despite the fact that it has some very slight creases (as was advertised) they are not noticeable once framed. The print came beautifully wrapped and carefully packaged.

About

Artist and illustrator from Scotland, UK

"Sharpe brings the elegance of a fashion designer’s line to the observation of human sympathies, discords and curiosities. Her fluid draughtsmanship and freedom with paint contribute to the creation of dynamic, vibrant pieces whether in colourful abstraction, or monotone drawings". (NewBloodArt, 2010)

Clients include: Marks&Spencer, Chloé fragrances, Marie Claire, Derwent pencils, Brodies tea, UGG, Aston Martin Edinburgh and Schwiing clothing, Montréal.

I am an artist and illustrator from Edinburgh, Scotland. My path on this creative roller coaster has so far included; working my socks off to get a 1st class degree in printed Textiles from Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee, then travelling a reasonable chunk of the world for a while with one of my best buds Rachel, all the while continuing to draw and work on some freelance textile work at the same time, which then led to me work as a printed textile designer full time, I then organically transitioned - but again with A LOT of hard work - to focusing more on my own work, mainly drawing and illustration - where my real passion was, and still is. Ultimately I think I always knew I would only ever be happy if I was working for myself, and with my own name and brand, that I, naturally, hold so close to my heart. So now, I feel very grateful to say that that is what I do, I work for myself, from a big and bright studio here in the West End of Glasgow. Whether that be working on private commissions for individuals, or for larger companies as well as dedicating a lot of my time to work on my own drawings/ illustrations. And of course some of my time is spent looking after my Etsy shop and sending out orders with a lot of care and hopefully, an individual touch!

The best way to follow me and my work is on my social media pages, mainly Instagram! I also have a written blog where I post about my work, but also a lot of ramblings about other things that I am interested in... :

Thanks so much for reading, and for your interest in my work,
Holly
