I am a child of God, a husband, a father, and an engineer - in that order. Maintaining that order takes effort, and putting forth that effort every day of my life is no small feat.

In 2017 my wife and I celebrated 6 years of marriage. Along with celebrating the joy of our marriage, we also struggled with what has been the most difficult year of our marriage to date. I worked with a counselor who emphasized a variety of spiritual exercises to aid with understanding and healing in our marriage, and praying a daily Rosary was one of his suggestions. The focus I have found through praying the Rosary regularly has enabled me to better maintain proper order in my life. Daily focused prayer prepares me to receive God's Grace, and His Grace allows me to be a better husband for my wife, a better father for my children, and a better man for everyone else that I encounter.

My experience with daily prayer, devotions, and spiritual exercises is something I now feel called to share with others. What started as a daily Rosary devotion has now blossomed into Holy Armament, a small business with a simple mission to provide devotional objects to those engaged in spiritual warfare.

What is spiritual warfare? You'll find plenty of books on the subject, but my definition is simple: spiritual warfare is the continual fight against our predisposition to sin, so that we can maintain communion with God and share His love with those He has entrusted to our care. As a "continual fight", we must have awareness and be engaged at all times. For Christians as a whole, this engagement can happen through prayer, devotions, worship, contemplation, ministries, etc. For Catholic Christians, all those activities are essential, but the most important act of engagement is receiving the Eucharist.

I believe in order to win the daily spiritual battle that exists in a person's life, the tools and weapons to aid in this engagement must integrate seamlessly into his daily routine. Our devotional objects are made to complement who a person is and what a person does - husband, father, hunter, hiker, camper, protector, worker, etc. - the list is endless.
