My first effort in jewelry making began in Tucson, Arizona during the turquoise and coral choker days in the 1970’s. At that time, I worked for a small company where I put together a few hundred necklaces a day, always making the same pattern. Soon I realized that I could do this at home and be more
creative so I bought some supplies and got started.

After my son was born and I had moved to Boise, my box of supplies and beads were cast aside in my bedroom closet. And there it sat. Until about three years ago when during an intense closet cleaning, I came upon my old box of beads and things. As I scavenged through the box, the colors and shapes lit a spark in me and I decided, after 25 years, to begin to make jewelry again.

Since I received such a positive reaction to my new creations from friends and co-workers, I was lucky enough to begin selling to a few local stores. Since I have been doing that for almost 3 years now, this on-line store is my next step.

I try to make jewelry that I would wear myself, or pieces that I can vision on someone that I know. My colors are usually close to nature and I use the bright sunlight to make sure colors and shapes match. I hope you enjoy what I have made and will encourage others to visit my store. Thank you for shopping handmade.
