Knitting has always been one of my passions.I've start knitting from as long as i remember myself.My grandmother was the one to blame for that :)
I've always enjoyed sitting and watching her transforming yarns into wonders.At first i was making clothes for my dolls and eventually for myself and friends.
Then sewing came into my life as well but knitting has always been my favorite hobby.It is easier to practice since you can always carry your knit inside your bag :)
Since my early 30's i was knitting or sewing basically for the need to do something relaxing and distracting from everyday life.Returning home after hours spending in an office where i was working as an accountant.
Then kids showed up ! They were a big inspiration for me and a reason to start exercising my skills daily and make all sort of things for them.My husband shares my passion for handmade as well,he also has a shop here with handbags ( http://www.milloo.etsy.com ) and we want our kids to grow up in an environment where not all things are mass produced and teach them that making something by yourself is exciting,fun and creative.
It was back then when i discovered Etsy and decided for the first time in my life to make a living out of something i really love doing.Etsy is more than a platform helping you sell your creations and earn money.It gives you the opportunity to interact with people who shares the same passion about handmade and make friends from all over the world !
I am making all my creations at home in my comfy sofa and i don't use a knitting machine.
