Announcement   Animal friendly means that our animals are safely grazing the rest of their lives at our farm, on pastures, never separated from their ‘families’ and friends. They are not eaten, sold, given away or allowed to have babies — unless they arrive here pregnant of course! They are part of our family and our biggest blessing. Their happiness and good care are our utmost concern.

We have dedicated our lives to what we feel is an honorable and ethical animal rescue/sanctuary. We love our animals beyond words. We hope you will find our pricing structure very fair and our products are of the best sheepy quality!! We are not in this for the money, but rather to find a way to keep our farm in business so that we may continue to provide shelter for the many animals who may otherwise not have a chance to live out the remainder of their lives in peace.
The sheep generally get a fiber update done every Monday or Tuesday so keep an eye out!

Our fiber is provided by our happy sheep- and all their friends and protectors! The sheep offer a wide variety of wool including unwashed, washed and dyed wool, spinning/felting batts and roving~all in natural and dyed colors and blends!

They also work very hard to 'help' me hand spin their fiber into yarn! ha! If you only knew how funny THAT is! We offer wonderful traditional handspun all the way to some Crazy Quilt style yarns to really spice up a project. The yarn is very versatile, not chemically treated and comes from a non-smoking home. Our yarn is wonderful for knitting, crochet, weaving and felting- be sure to have a browse about ok?

Our sheep work hard year round to keep their fleeces clean and wonderful!(well truthfully, that is OUR job--they could care less!!) The sheep are encouraged to live happy, carefree lives so please know that the fleece we offer is rarely from covered or coated sheep. You may occasionally find bits of 'evidence' of what they had for breakfast (mainly hay salad) or what their llama friend may have spit at them during a 'spat' (haha!). Most will have some natural fading on the tips of the wool from sun bathing--something the sheep adore all summer long!

However, we work very hard to only send you the best portions of each fleece--no poop, no 'stinker' fleeces to be sure! I have been the victim of a few of those in my time and strive to prevent that happening to you. I also send extra fiber in case something escapes my fleece sorting so you always have usable fiber that requires the least work possible--and I represent our fiber as honestly as possible with pictures and words.

After shearing our wool is hand washed, leaving the wool sparkling clean. Some of the wool is then hand dyed here in our kitchen and laid out to dry outside in the fresh breezes. We also offer beautiful naturally colored fiber from a variety of sheep!

Our goal is simply happy sheep AND happy fiber artists!
