I am privileged to be The Bride of 24 years to my Best Friend and full time mother of 6 terrific blessings...four of which are girls. They were my original inspiration for my first hair bows, baby headbands, and diaper covers (bloomers) since somebody was always wearing one, it seemed!
In 2006, I started The Homestylemom, a custom sewing/embroidery boutique to further my baby girl gift endeavors, and have since changed the name to Homespun HoneyBee Designs. My name (Melissa) means "honey bee" in Greek. I am usually styling someones hair, always on a diet, passionate about gardening, love to read, appreciate a good dose of inspirational music, and live for family vacations. I am thankful for nap times, washing machines, and shapeware. I love life here in the South enjoying sweet tea on the porch watching our chickens, 'hiking dates' with my family, summers at the lake, amusement parks, cooking, and long drives in the country! "Home" is my favorite place on earth.
