5 out of 5 starsI always forget how tiny such items are for the correct scale! This delicate inkwell will add the touch of reality to my desk top and I'm pleased to have it! :0)

Honey and Bee, Handmade Miniatures in Dollhouse Scales
I grew up with my mother's childhood dollhouse, and I've been making miniatures ever since I was able to use scissors and glue. Many of the things I make now are items I wanted for my own miniature settings but couldn't find anywhere else. Or if I did manage to find such items for sale, they were of a lower quality or higher price than suited me. Like Goldilocks, I was searching for what was "just right," and so I ended up making most things for myself, customizing them to suit my picky perfectionism.
I make miniatures that are worn, well-used, familiar and beautiful, things that make a house look comfortably lived in.
My miniatures are inspired by the age of enlightenment and the industrial revolution, from the 18th to the early 20th century. I love apothecary, medical, scientific and nautical antiques, natural history specimens, historic furniture, old books and paper, period costume, and everyday kitchen items.
I work primarily in 1:12 scale (1 inch = 1 foot), and occasionally other miniature scales. I welcome custom requests.
Whenever possible, I use archival, stable materials that will not fade, degrade or discolor with time.
If you are a miniaturist, print out my free Inch-to-Foot ruler! I keep one taped to the top of my computer monitor and refer to it constantly.
