I started Honey and Moonlight a couple of years ago, when I fell in love with hand lettering and modern calligraphy. I've always loved writing instruments, but getting into fountain pens was what really helped drive my creativity.

After my mom passed away in 2014, I turned to hand lettering to help cope with the feelings I was dealing with. Soon I had whole journals filled with inspirational quotes, pretty words, and watercolor paintings. My mom always encouraged my creativity growing up, and it was clear that even in death she was still encouraging that creativity.
