Love this salve! I use it on elbows, heels and hands. I like that it contains olive oil, I cannot use products with coconut oil and this definitely delivers soft skin with use. :)

About

What began as a simple hobby has turned into a passion and a livelihood.

Back in 2003 I gifted a hive of bees to my boyfriend Isaac. His curiosity in natural and scientific things- combined with an insatiable love for honey- I knew it would be a hit. Little did I realize it would turn into a career and a way of life for our future family! We couldn't be happier- creating pure raw honey, beeswax candles, and handcrafted soap. These are products we believe in and find great pleasure in producing.

Isaac is the beekeeper and spends his Spring, Summer, and Fall days maintaining the health of our 500 colonies of honeybees. He monitors the hives by checking their brood pattern, ensuring adequate pollen and honey stores, and always making sure the hives' well-being is the first priority. He harvests the surplus honey and brings it back to our honey house- spinning the fresh honey from the comb, straining out the bits of beeswax and bottling it up for our customers. In the winter months he works on cleaning the beeswax cappings and preparing the wax so it is ready to create beeswax candles. Building beekeeping equipment, helping out other beekeepers, writing the farm blog, and playing with our children rounds out his time.

As a mother of four and a small business owner, I wear many hats- along with helping Isaac with aspects of beekeeping, I am the one who corresponds with customer emails as well as making soap, salves, lip balm, and beeswax candles. In 2015 we hired a shipping manager, Katie Massie, who has helped us tremendously, so we can focus on creating products while she takes care of shipping out packages.

We are immersed with our work daily, yet when you love what you do, it really doesn't feel like work. Our children come with us to complete tasks on the farm, and we are continually grateful to be able to stay home with them while creating natural products from our farm.

Shop policies

We produce pure raw honey, handcrafted soap, and beeswax candles from Williamsport, Ohio. We believe products should be made as simply and as naturally as possible. Our beehives are managed without the use of pesticides (for mite treatments), and we employ natural and organic methods in our garden to produce the herbs and flowers used in our soap.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
We accept paypal, cashier's check or money orders, and personal checks. State sales tax is required on purchases of soap and beeswax for Ohio residents. If paying with a check or money order, please send payment within 30 days. If payment is not received within this time, I will contact you to arrange payment, and if there is no response or payment I reserve the right to cancel the order.
Shipping
We ship via USPS. If we overcharge you for shipping by $1.00 or more we will refund your account via the same method you paid. Due to restrictions on shipping honey (considered an agricultural product) to other countries, along with the time it takes to determine shipping and set up custom listings, we are unable to ship internationally at this time.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be 100% happy with your order, and are happy to offer full refunds for any merchandise that does not meet your quality standards. If you order a jar of honey from us and find it broken or open upon arrival, simply let us know and we will replace it free of charge. Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order if you have any complaints.
Additional policies and FAQs
All raw honey (honey fresh from the beehive) will granulate (get cloudy and thick) in time. This is natural, and does not mean the honey has "gone bad", as honey does not spoil. Simply heat the container in a hot pot of water to re-liquify. We recommend not heating it over 100 degrees to prevent the loss of flavor, enzymes, and nutritional benefits.
