NOTE: Rustic Reddish Wood is not as distressed or rustic as our Rustic Old Wood and color, grain, knots, holes can vary in all wood types.

Our table tops do come sealed. We bought three items from this seller and they all exceeded our expectations! I recommend without hesitation. We will buy again.

This was by far the worst experience I've had on Etsy. The coat rack I received was so carelessly constructed. One hook was installed on an angle, and both protruded out the back of the wood, which prevents flush installation. I made it very clear in several documented communications that I intended to use a nail gun to hang this coat rack. Screwing it into the studs was never an option. Lisa was relentless in insisting that I screw it into my studs to rectify the imbalance. As for the angled hook, she told me to cover it with a coat or hat. She even suggested I fix these problems myself. There's nothing like accountability. Dealing with Lisa is beyond difficult. She deflects and hides behind her "no return policy." I've had Etsy sellers take back items and issue refunds when there were clearly issues, regardless. Horrible!

This buyer contacted me and said one spool was installed crooked and it won't sit 100% flush to her wall. If she had screwed to her studs, it wouldn't be an issue. We've never heard of using a nail gun to hang something like this on a wall. Not a good method. However, I offered for her to return it to correct the alleged faults with the item but she refused and wants 100% refund because she simply doesn't like it and it looks like her 6 year old made it. She opened up a PayPal dispute and PayPal, based on her own photos, said there is nothing wrong with her item and closed the case. She appealed their decision. Again, they closed the case in our favor. Now she's mad because she cannot open another dispute over this item. We work from home and cannot take returns because of limited storage. End of story.

Michael designed a new coffee table for our family room. The wood has tons of history.

About

Woodworking and Original Paintings - It's our love story.

How did Honey's Treasures start? It begins with me asking Michael to make something I need or want and it almost always would turn into a little business venture for us. Example; We were hiking at Salt Point State Park and spotted a Blue Heron. I said, "Oh, Honey, will you carve one of those for our backyard?" Next thing you know, we've got all these people that want one for their garden and it kind of just snowballed from there. We were even selling them by the side of the road like a couple of gypsies and we had a ball!

I have to tell you, every time I ask Michael to make something new, he laughs. He says, "Lisa, you think I can make anything." I tell you it's true, he can! Now I'm making things and helping him, too. And...we both love working side by side together on projects and are having more fun than we ever dreamed possible working from home!

Lisa: I'm a self taught oil painter. Art runs through my veins. My mother was a very talented artist as well as my aunt, my dad's sister. Actually many people on both sides of my family were artists and it comes natural for me. My son, Seth, is also very talented naturally.

Michael has recently decided that he wants to be a painter as well. He paints in acrylics.

Our son, Seth, joined our shop to sell his paintings. He helps us in the shop from time to time, too.

We live and work out of our home garage in Fairfield, CA, where we are close to the places we love: The California coast and the city of San Francisco. Painting plein air, camping, hiking and bike riding are some of the things we enjoy doing.

Hi, I'm Seth. Michael and Lisa are my parents and invited me to join their shop and to paint plein air with them. I draw, paint and weld and work with wood. When I paint I drink lots of coffee. I like scotch, too.
