→ General Shipping Info: Our current turn around time is approximately 3 to 7 business and depending on your shipping choice, shipping within the US generally takes around 3-4 business days with USPS. I will send you an email notification with a tracking number as soon as your jewelry ships.
→ Ship to addresses: Please double check the "ship to" address entered into Etsy. I am not responsible for packages sent to the wrong address. If packages are shipped back to me due to being non-deliverable, I will have to ask that you pay another shipping fee so that I can resend it to you.
→ Package Damages & Late Deliveries: I would love to be able to hand deliver every item I make, unfortunately, that's not possible. Once an item leaves my studio, I cannot guarantee USPS is going to deliver it on time without fail. I am not responsible for packages once they leave my studio. I get all packages shipped out in a timely manner- and that is the very best I can do to ensure delivery is on time.
→ Important Dates, Need By Dates: *IT IS VERY IMPORTANT* that you Please leave a note at checkout with the date you need your order by, if it is time sensitive and you have talked with me to make sure I can accommodate.
→ Customs: I am unable to refund orders due to customs fees being "too high" for recipients. I expect that the purchaser knows the requirements ahead of purchasing. I am unable to advise of fees to expect, delivery times, etc. ** I currently mark all orders as "gift" to help prevent fees from occurring **
→ Packaging: Every purchase comes packaged very nicely ready to give as a gift. The package includes contact cards, and jewelry is placed in a professional plastic wrapping to keep it stable during shipping. The box is a natural, eco-friendly, biodegradable kraft brown with a seed paper band that can be planted and actually grows a mix of wild flowers.

4 out of 5 starsThis was to be a Christmas gift but the package took about 3 weeks to get here. The seller was very efficient on getting the piece in the mail but it just took a very very long time to get here which was disappointing. The customer service though was good, I got all my questions answered and was reassured it was on its way.
My mom still loved the bracelet and it fits her well. One thing I worry about is that the lettering may rub off because the color and lines are a little shallow and soft. -

I gave this copper bracelet to my dad who lost his beloved dog before Christmas. He likes to wear copper for the health benefits anyway and to honor his friend it was a win-win gift for him! She made it thicker so it is a more appropriate weight for a man. She was delightful to work with and he loves it and says he will never take it off! I also got him a Christmas ornament with a saying on the back and he loves that as well. It arrived quickly. Great purchasing experience. Thank you!

ABOUT ME (Heather)
I absolutely love providing others with amazing ways to express love and remember life's landmarks. Our handwriting jewelry is - hands down - one of the most thoughtful and heartfelt gifts on the planet. The stories behind our personalized pieces of jewelry; whether it be; life struggles, accomplishments, good and the not so good are incredibly humbling to me. I love to embrace and establish relationships with my customers that are willing to share stories. I openly share my life on Instagram (honey.thorns) and love to hear about my customers as well. I find it very healing to feel less alone in this big world and sharing stories and supporting one another is a great way to do that!
WHY I STARTED HONEY THORNS
Several years ago, a very kind lady gave me a handmade piece of hemp jewelry. It was unexpected as I had just complimented it because it was unique. She immediately and without even thinking about it, took it off her wrist and placed it on mine. She said, "I want you to have it, it makes you happy". I will never forget her raw, genuine kindness. Sometimes I wear it when I'm faced with a difficult task because it reminds me to be kind and giving. I always knew I wanted to offer the same powerful concept to others. I want people to wear my jewelry and remember a powerful message, whether it be something they have overcome, something they're going through, and their "why" in life such as their children.
My "why" in life is my husband and children. I want to be the most positive influence in my family's life that I can possibly be.

HOW WE DO IT
We are a husband and wife team! My husband Andrew and I make every single piece of jewelry in our garage-converted-studio. We hand cut our metals, sand, engrave, polish and package every piece by hand. We have put extensive time and energy into the quality of our materials, the way they're assembled and the packaging. Our packaging includes a band of wildflower seed paper that you can actually plant. Wildflowers are my favorite and what a great way to give back to our beautiful world! You can plant it and be reminded of love and growth.

Care instructions
→ In general, our jewelry is intended to a versatile, longevity keepsake that can be worn often. However, it needs to be treated gently. We don't recommend placing it in contact with water or chemicals including your own sweat. Some of our materials (Sterling, Copper and Brass) naturally oxidize and can turn colors over time and even begin to leave color on your skin. To avoid this, you can avoid water and chemicals as stated and also use a simple, soft jewelry cloth to polish, buff out minor scratches and restore shine.
About our Metals
→ Bangles are made from stainless steel and are double plated with either 18k gold or sterling silver.
→ Imprinted pieces are made from either Golden Brass, Copper, Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Sterling Silver. The metal we use depends on the options you picked at checkout.
→ Charms are all mixed alloy metals
→ All of our gemstones are natural stones
Custom and personalized orders
I am happy to fulfill custom request and really enjoy making special keepsakes that are personalized for specific events, including life events.
When a custom request is made, we can discuss all the options, come up with a solid idea together and then I'll create a custom listing for you. Once the listing is purchased, I will have to assume that the details stated in the listing are exactly correct. This includes- dates, spelling, capitalization, etc.
