Take a little crazy…add some bold color…shake it up….

I love color…bold, funky, whimsical color! My art is a reflection of who I am and where I am at any given moment. My creative talent was honed in the 'craft box' of leftover junk that my Mother kept in our basement. My desire to attend a college, where no real grades were given, led me to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I majored in textile design (because that department offered an amazing trip to Paris). From jewelry design, to murals, to pet portraits….I have always found freedom in making and selling my art. My Blue Studio is a place of peace and laughter, where I create my own mixed media and encaustic work as well as teach children how to tap into their own inner artists. I believe that there is power in finding your own creative voice….I hope you enjoy my little shop….
