Turning a passion into a business
I am an Education student at the University of Saskatchewan.
I have always loved to create and sell my art whether it be sculpting, painting, etc
After wanting to purchase some metal stamped items online I saw how expensive they were and decided to start my business where create affordable custom accessories and jewellery!
When I saw how expensive many metal-stamped items or customizable items were, I was appalled. Instead of spending $50 on two keychains, I went out and invested a couple of hundred dollars into starting up my own business and that is where Hopeful By Hope started!
This is not my first rodeo though! When I was in high school, I took part in the Junior Achievement Company program through my Entrepreneurship class. I started a business creating sweaters to break the stigma around mental health and donated 10% of all the earnings to the Canadian Mental Health Association Regina Branch.
