Hope Rocks originated as a way of spreading hope in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. I work at a retirement home and noticed one day that someone was leaving tiny little painted rocks at the front entrance to our home. I thought, “How sweet", and decided to contribute some myself. That led me to start leaving rocks with ‘hopeful’ messages in friends’ and neighbours’ gardens, and eventually along our local walking trails. It became a family activity and we quickly became known as the Rock People, and I myself as the ‘Rock Fairy’.

But it didn’t end there. My rock painting evolved and grew into a huge passion (obsession?), and I love every single minute of it. It re-ignited a life long love of art and color and creativity.
And in the process, I’ve discovered that beautifully painted rocks can serve so many purposes, from the more tangible:
• home decor: from hall tables to desks, to bookcases
• paperweights
• door stops
• zen gardens
• meditation aids
• plant pot decor
• garden decor
to the more abstract:
• spreading kindness
• giving hope
• sharing love
• evoking a smile

Most importantly, to me anyway, they are ALL created with love and that love lives on in the energy within the rock. Whether you purchase one of my rocks for yourself or as a truly unique gift for someone else, remember it is infused with love. So you too can spread love, hope, kindness, and hopefully evoke a smile every time you look at it.
