Ordered this for a gift and it was never shipped. Had a hard time reaching the seller and had to track down on instagram and file a dispute. Was refunded.

About

HorseFeathers is the rather nonsense name behind a no-nonsense brand of inspirational accessories and more.

How it all began…
In 2009, Chelsea Farmer was ready for something more. As a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America, she quit her day job and took life by the reins. She harnessed her education and love for gemstones to create HorseFeathers Gifts. Positivity has always been the driving force behind her brand, with hand-crafted, heirloom-quality inspirational and feel good pieces. And every month, a portion of all the proceeds goes to saving animals and helping them find forever homes. Good Vibes Only!

Custom and personalized orders

Each lettering or image is stamped by hand onto the metal using a steel stamp and a hammer (no machines are used). For this reason sometimes the text may not align perfectly. Any variation is an enhancement to the unique quality of your piece and not an imperfection. This is what adds to the character and charm of the jewelry.

**Hand-stamped pieces are custom made and are not returnable.

Care instructions

Our jewelry is not waterproof, we recommend removing when showering or swimming.

All sterling silver naturally tarnishes, and there are many different factors- climate, lotions, etc., that might cause your piece to tarnish faster than others. The polish pad we send you with your order will definitely help. Storing your piece in an airtight plastic baggie when not worn will also help.

Some jewelry boxes are lined with anti-tarnish fabric. If a jewelry piece should tarnish, you can clean off the tarnish using a polishing cloth.

Silk Wrap Care- After much wear you may notice your silk is starting to roll or crinkle more than you prefer. This can easily be fixed by washing your silk with a mild soap then laying flat to dry. You may a

Gift wrapping and packaging

No need to worry! Packages do not have any invoices or pricing information.

All items come packaged in the same box unless you purchase the gift wrap option in our shop.

Will your rings turn my finger green?

Possibly. The reason for your finger turning green is usually a chemical. It's due to a combination of the metal and the acids in your skin. A ring made of copper or brass is a common culprit, but even sterling silver can cause discoloration.

Fix: Apply a clear nail polish to the interior band of your ring. This creates a barrier between your skin and the metal so that the ring can’t turn your finger green. Just remember to reapply the coating often because it tends to wear off over time.
