5 out of 5 starsSo cool, I bought this for my sister’s birthday and she loved it. I like the detailed instructions and the option to fill in the tree or fill it in, I made sure to buy her enough embroidery floss so if she decides to fill in she has enough.

5 out of 5 starsThis is so cute! My son is going to be so excited the next time he loses a tooth and wakes up to a handwritten letter from the tooth fairy!

An excerpt from the fictitious Professor Grimhatch's notes
House of Whimsy was born out of a desire to be creative through means other than sewing costumes and clothing.
House of Whimsy started as an outlet for all of my non-costume and clothing projects to live. My husband Widgett and I came up with the idea for a fictitious Professor Grimhatch whose otherworldly adventures would serve as a basis for all of the creative items in the shop (check out our profile if you'd like more information about the esteemed Professor).
I enjoy sculpting in polymer clay, and loved the idea of the urban fairy doors in Ann Arbor, so I started making some with quite strong personalities, from doors for a Fairy Princess Academy to a Pub.
My dog toys started from a need to find toys for my own Hellpuppy that I knew were safe and sturdy for her to play with. And after friends started asking for me to make cat toys as well, I discovered that she likes catnip! Weird dog...
Embroidery is one of my passions that I don't get to indulge in with costumes as much as I would like, so I started creating my own patterns to share (and as an excuse to try them out by making all of the samples myself).
Thank you for visiting my little store! I hope that you find some escape from the mundane in my creations.
