What a lovely piece of art we received yesterday. It was very well packaged for its trip half way across the world. Silke was such a pleasure to deal with!

Thanks for sharing the love for wood and beauty ! Sorry for the small range we are just showing: Moving house and workshop ... More to come very soon!

I love to get up in the morning, feeling the wooden floorboards under my bare feet. Followed by the wooden board for breakfast Peter made himself wishing a 'Good morning' - even the spoon for stirring the porridge is made out of wood. The smell of warm wood after having 'visited' his workshop, the story the grain tells ... Growing trees in the garden, to see the changes every day - it is fantastic!!

Peter loves working with his hands, combined with the simplicity of beauty. He started working with wood in his early ages, studied architecture to follow his ideas for 'Arts and Crafts' in the current times.

Peter is just 'rethinking' his way of working, would like to use his old fashioned handtools even more, without compromising his results. It is gardening season, too - creative ways of growing and enjoying it! Please allow the shop to be relatively small at the moment - due to the process it will change. Thanks!!

Welcome to Peter's workshop in the North of England.

He likes to work mainly fruitwood, and to finish with a tactile/satin finish by hand sanding it finally. Oiled. He uses only a little number of hobby machines, working as much by hand as possible. Wood is just great - the smell of it already!

Yes, we started steambending some time ago. It is really exhiting to find out what's possible without changing the character of the wood, letting the beauty of the grain show itself.

Perhaps it's my German influence that we really like hooks, wall organizers in all kinds of sizes. Interesting to see what might come out of this.

I like to send your purchase insured to you, using Royal Mail Services. I will send it First Class for items purchased in Britain.
I got informed about the sending costs, and I am very(!) sorry for the high additional costs. We try to keep the costs down for you, but I have no idea how to decrease the postage. The costs mentioned are just for the item, not even packed (weightwise). If you have a better/lower priced idea for sending the items abroad, please let me know...

The mentioned costs include tracking the item as well as being insured. I think both parties should feel comfortable about the sending process.

Refunds and Exchanges
I do allow returns on most of our products. We want you to be totally happy with your purchase. Please understand that I can not allow returns on custom pieces.
I will refund your payment excluding all postage and packing charges. You will need to send it back to me in its original condition for a refund within 7 days of receiving the item.
Please ensure you use an adequate method of postage and compensation for the value of the item being returned, and obtain a proof of posting.
I do not refund for returns that are lost in the post or damaged by the post office, you will have to claim from the postal service yourself if this ever occurs.
Additional policies and FAQs

Please understand that we will have to adapt the mentioned $ prices to the current currency rate, as we calculate in £. So you might find 'changed' prices sometimes a month according to the exchange rates. Sorry for this!

Please understand that customers are responsible for all customs and import taxes.

Please note:
For a long life of the wooden items no dishwasher or leaving them soak in water, please. They are oiled for food use; you can just use a few drops of oil and a soft cloth yourself, from time to time.

Thanks a lot for your understanding!!
