nice goods was started in 2009 on a cold February day as a way to cure Midwest winter boredom and find a good use for ideas kicking around in my brain. As a long-time gig poster and t-shirt designer/illustrator http://hi.nicenicenice.com I wanted to apply that aesthetic and approach to creative problem solving on a smaller scale.
The Etsy shop hownice.etsy.com was made to sell buttons, magnets, pet tags and other small accessories that my friends, family, and myself like that way if nothing sold, I could at least have some gifts to give away!
Turned out, others liked what I liked too and the shop turned into a real labor of love. I design, typeset, and illustrate all nice goods. Myself and my partner assemble and ship products to people all over the world.
My favorite thing that came out of selling nice goods is the feedback and stories from customers about how they connect to my tiny designs. Those little connections with these little designs is largely why we make nice goods. We encourage shoppers to upload their stories with our nice goods on our Facebook page too!
A big part of the nice approach is to make all nice goods accessible and affordable because we think everyone should be entitled to a little nice in their life whether it's a set of buttons or magnets, something as big as a t-shirt or as tiny as a pet tag.
We've since been accepting wholesale and bulk orders for larger shops to carry nice goods and take on custom orders for weddings and parties too as a way to spread a little more nice in the world.

Credit card payments through PayPal is preferred. Shipping based on payment arrival and placement of order.
IA residents will be charged sales tax.

Our products are packaged and shipped in a padded envelope via USPS.
Sales receipts and order info are not included in the package so we can process your order faster and save some trees too.

We ship several times throughout the week and strive to ship your package within 4 working days after receiving your order and payment, depending on product availability and time of order placement. Orders from US take an estimated 3-7 business days to be delivered. Orders outside EU generally take 5-11 business days to be delivered. Shipping via USPS first class mail. If you require shipping upgrades such as; insurance, expedited delivery, or if there is a delivery problem, email us at orders [!at] nicenicenice.com to make it happen!

Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to love your item as much as we loved making it for you. If you have issues with your item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item for information on refunds, replacements, and/or returns. Shipping fee on such items will be refunded in event of error on our part, such as wrong or defected item sent.
