Announcement
Welcome to my little shop! I hope you love these pieces as much as I do. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. I would love to talk to you and thank you for taking the time to check out my tiny space in this huge world of Etsy. This boy mama (of 3!) is living out her creative dream, one sparkling piece of jewelry at a time.
Please follow me on Instagram @hudsonbluejewelry and on Facebook for my latest shop additions, announcements, giveaways and sales!
**Please note, due to COVID-19, shipping times both domestically and internationally can vary and may take much longer than estimated and expected. It is not uncommon for the post office to not scan a package for several days after I drop it off. Unfortunately, I have no control over this and ask for your patience as you await your package. I also recently updated my production time to be a bit longer than my normal, as I recently had a baby and also have two other littles to look after. I will continue to do my best and get orders shipped out as quickly as possible as I normally have been doing, however there may be some circumstances where my production time is a little longer. Thank you for your understanding! **

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful, delicate gold heart. I bought it for myself but think I may gift one to a friend. I would definitely buy more from this vendor.

4 out of 5 starsSeller was willing to customize - really wonderful. Beautiful design and materials. Hoop part turns upside down a lot which is only downside. Beautiful and fun to wear!

Frequently asked questions
Can you stamp on both sides of the charm?
No, I do not stamp both sides. Although I use thick, 20 gauge gold filled, sterling silver or rose gold filled charms, stamping on the back can ruin the front of your piece and make your personalization unclear.
What length of chain should I order?
If you are unsure of the length of chain you would like, take a piece of string or a soft measuring tape and measure the length around your own neck. You can also take another necklace that you wear often and measure that chain for it's length. Remember, the length of the chain is measured end to end and includes the clasp as well as the charm. To measure the length of a bracelet, measure a bracelet you already have and like the length of, or take a piece of string, wrap it around your wrist (not tightly) and add up to 1 inch, depending on how you want the bracelet to fit and where it will fall on your arm.
Can I add a charm or make a change to a necklace?
To add a charm: Additional charms can be found in the "Add ons & Extras" section of my shop.
You can request a custom order by sending a conversation to me and I would love to help you create something unique!
Gift wrapping and packaging
Every piece is packaged in a small box and tied with a simple bow using natural jute twine - ready for gift giving. I do not include an invoice or gift message with my packaging unless requested.
Customs Charges
Please be aware that some countries will charge customs and duties for international packages and others will not. Although most packages go through without any charges, some may incur charges. I have no control over how the countries charge packages in customs. Please find out about your country's customs and duty policies before purchasing. If charges incur, I am not responsible for them.
General Care instructions
- Do not wear your jewelry into the pool, spa or ocean
- Remove your necklace when exercising, sleeping or showering
- Gently polish with a soft, lint free cloth
- Store your necklace in a cool, dry place
What is the difference between gold-fill and gold plate?
Gold-fill is an actual layer of gold, pressure bonded to a base metal. To be called gold-fill, the gold content must be at least 1/20th of the weight of the total piece and it has 100 times more gold than a gold plate item. Gold-fill jewelry is beautiful, affordable, long lasting and tarnish resistant. With proper care, your gold-fill jewelry can last many years. It usually just requires light surface cleaning with an untreated cloth or mild, soapy water. It is also wonderful for people with sensitive skin.
What is Sterling Silver?
Sterling silver is pure silver mixed with other metal(s) to give it more strength. It is 92.5% pure silver and is considered a precious metal. The remaining 7.5% of the alloy is usually copper, which adds strength while preserving the appearance of pure silver.
How do I care for my Sterling Silver?
When sterling silver is left exposed to airborne compounds of sulfur, black tarnish will slowly start to appear. The good news is solid sterling silver jewelry can easily be polished back up to remove the tarnish and look as good as new. Some tips to slow or prevent tarnishing:
Store your sterling silver in a low-humidity environment.
Keep it clean and dry when not wearing it.
Keep it in an airtight container when not wearing (such as a plastic ziplock bag).
Caring for brass and copper
Brass and copper will oxidize and tarnish when exposed to humidity. They should be polished and stored in a plastic bag to keep their shine. Brass should never be worn in water. Brass and copper will naturally take on a patina after time. For either metal, the best solution to shine them back up is with a polishing cloth, which can be purchased at jewelry stores or you can order them online.
Some people with metal sensitivities may experience a green stain on their skin when wearing brass or copper.
