Hi there! Thanks for visiting Hudson Valley Wool and Wax (formerly Candles by Meg)! My store originally focused on selling hand poured all natural soy candles in unique containers. Most of the containers I use can be up-cycled or reused in some way when you have finished burning through them. I started by selling only custom monogram jar candles, then added a few more unique containers like hand thrown pottery, copper Mule Mugs, and even crystal, to name a few. But then, after having been a knitter since 2000, and having refused to open up my shop to sell things I knit, I decided to give it a shot. Thus, Hudson Valley Wool and Wax was formed. Many of my designs are original, any others I give credit to the pattern designer. Will I sell my own patterns? Maybe. I have so many ideas, my brain hamster just doesn’t stop running! I hope to one day bring to life the ideas I have and make them available to sell to you.

Returns and exchange details

Refunds gladly given within 7 business days for unburnt candles in unused / original condition (you are responsible for shipping the item back to me). Please contact me if you receive a candle that is damaged in any way BEFORE lighting the wick. If you have any concerns or questions about a candle you have purchased please contact me and I will work hard to make sure you are happy!

Credit card payments are processed through PayPal which is secure and private for both the buyer and seller and you do not need to have a PayPal account in order to use their services.

Shipping

In stock candles without any custom options ship within 1-2 business days (usually next day).
Items that are made-to-order are ready to ship within 9 business days (but usually within 2-3 days).
